OzTAM is the principle client of AGB Nielsen Media Research (Australia) for the metropolitan television audience measurement (TAM) contract and OzTAM is the owner of the data collected by this service. OzTAM is an entity formed by the three Australian Free-To-Air Television Networks for the specific purpose of creating a timely, accurate and statistically reliable TAM service. |

The Regional Broadcasters Association (RBA) is the principle client of AGB Nielsen Media Research (Australia) for the regional TAM contract. The RBA is the owner of the data collected by the service. The RBA is an entity used by the regional broadcasting networks for the purposes of controlling and facilitating the implementation of the Regional TAM system. The RBA comprises representatives from the five regional network owners: WIN, NBN, PRIME, Southern Cross Broadcasting and Channel Seven Qld. The regional TAM service is supported by the Regional Technician Discussion Group, comprised of representatives from Media Agencies, Regional Networks and AGB Nielsen Media Research (Australia). AGB Nielsen Media Research (Australia) distributes both the Metro and Regional data to the free-to-air networks (Metro: ABC, Seven Network, Nine Network, Network Ten, SBS and Regional: 7 Queensland, Prime, NBN, Win, Southern Cross ) and major agencies including Euro RSCG, The Media Edge, Initiative Media, Mindshare, Mitchell & Partners, Optimedia, Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom Media, Total Advertising & Communications, Universal McCann and Zentih Media. |
